Caldera Compounds was built on a simple frustration: research peptides are easy to buy and hard to trust. We set out to change the second half of that sentence.
Our story
Documentation should not be a favour.
Too many suppliers treat a certificate of analysis as something you have to chase — if it exists at all. Lot numbers don't match. Purity is a marketing number, not a measured one.
Caldera Compounds takes the opposite position. Every lot is independently tested, every shipment carries the certificate for its own lot, and every claim on this site is one we can show you the data for.
We keep the catalog focused, the supply dependable, and the paperwork in the box — so the researchers who buy from us can spend their attention on the experiment, not the vendor.

How we work

Verify, then sell
A lot is not listed until it has passed our own HPLC and mass-spec testing. Supplier data informs the decision; it never replaces it.
Document everything
Traceable lot numbers, dated test results and a certificate matched to the vial. Your records should never depend on our memory.
Supply responsibly
We sell research materials to researchers, for research. Clear labelling, clear terms, and no claims we cannot substantiate.
The name
Why “Caldera”
A caldera is the precise, defined basin left when raw geological force settles into something stable and measurable.
It is the metaphor we wanted for the company: complex chemistry, resolved into a product that is consistent, characterised and dependable. The mark — concentric rings narrowing to a fixed centre — stands for that idea. Precision out of complexity.
