Home / Quality & testing
Tested before it ships. Documented before you ask.
Reproducible research depends on knowing exactly what is in the vial. Here is how Caldera Compounds verifies identity and purity for every lot.
The testing process
Four checks on every lot
HPLC purity assay
Reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography quantifies the main peptide against related impurities.
Mass-spec identity
Mass spectrometry confirms the observed molecular mass matches the expected value for the compound.
Contaminant screen
Lots are checked for residual solvents, heavy metals and bacterial endotoxin against defined limits.
Certificate of analysis
Results are compiled into a lot-specific COA that is matched to the vial you receive.
Certificate of analysis
What travels with your vial
No guessing, no requesting it later. Every shipment includes the certificate for its own lot — so your records, methods and notebooks start from verified data.

Sourcing
Vetted synthesis, verified on arrival
Material is produced by synthesis partners selected for documented quality systems. We treat their data as a starting point — not a substitute for our own independent testing.
Every lot is re-verified after it reaches us and before it is offered for sale. If a lot does not meet specification, it does not enter inventory.
Common questions
Quality, answered
Can I see the certificate of analysis before I order?
Yes. Request the current-lot COA for any catalog compound through the contact page and we will send the most recent available document.
Is the COA specific to the vial I receive?
Yes. The certificate is generated per lot and matched to the lot number on your vial, so the data reflects the exact material shipped to you.
What purity should I expect?
Catalog compounds are typically supplied at ≥99% HPLC purity, with the cosmetic and topical peptides at ≥98%. The precise figure for your lot is stated on its COA.
Do you offer third-party or independent verification?
Independent analytical testing can be arranged for bulk and institutional orders. Contact us to discuss the scope and turnaround.
