Payment methods
Caldera Compounds accepts payment by Zelle and bank wire transfer. Both are free for you, settle quickly, and don't share card data with anyone. Here's how each one works.
Recommended
Zelle
Fastest and easiest. Most U.S. banks have Zelle built into their mobile app — no separate signup, no fees, sends in seconds.

- ✓Send to: orders@calderacompounds.com
- ✓Amount: the total on your invoice (e.g., $104.00)
- ✓Memo / reason: your invoice number (e.g., CC-260525-A4F2)
- ✓That's it — we get the deposit in seconds and your order ships next business day
Zelle daily send limit varies by bank, typically $500–$3,500 per day. If your order exceeds your bank's Zelle limit, use wire transfer instead.
For larger or institutional orders
Wire transfer
Best for institutional buyers, POs, and any order above your bank's Zelle limit. Settles in same-day or next-day depending on your bank.

- ✓Initiate the wire through your business bank's online portal or branch
- ✓Use your invoice number as the wire reference / memo line
- ✓Your bank may charge a wire fee ($15–$35 typically) — that's on your end, not ours
- ✓Once the wire posts to our account, your order ships next business day
For institutional accounts paying via PO, mention "PO billing" in your wholesale inquiry and we'll set up net-30 terms after the first order.

From cart to your bench
Submit your order
Build your cart and submit at checkout. Your invoice is generated and shown instantly on screen, with a copy emailed.
Send payment
Send Zelle or wire to the address on your invoice, referencing the invoice number. Most customers complete this in under a minute.
Confirmation
We confirm receipt of payment in our bank, usually within hours for Zelle and same-day or next-day for wire.
Shipping & dispatch
Vials ship from the U.S. with the lot-specific certificate of analysis, typically within one business day of confirmed payment.
Common questions
Payment FAQ
Why don't you accept credit cards or PayPal?
The major card processors (Stripe, Square, PayPal) explicitly prohibit research-chemical merchants under their terms of service. Setting up a standard processor account would result in a frozen account and held funds within weeks. Zelle and wire bypass that problem entirely, settle faster, and have no processing fees we'd have to pass along.
Is Zelle safe?
Yes. Zelle is built into U.S. bank apps and moves money directly between bank accounts. It's the same network your bank uses for any other Zelle payment to a friend, contractor, or service. No card data, no third-party intermediary.
What if Zelle is over my daily limit?
Use wire transfer instead. Wire has no Zelle-style daily cap and is the standard for institutional and bulk orders. Or split the order across two days using Zelle if you prefer.
Can I pay by check or money order?
Yes, by request. Add a note to your checkout or email orders@calderacompounds.com and we'll send the mailing address. Note that orders paid by check ship after the check clears (typically 3–5 business days from receipt).
Do you accept cryptocurrency?
Not at launch. We may add a BTC / USDC option later for customers who prefer it. For now, Zelle and wire are the supported methods.
What about international orders?
We ship within the U.S. International orders are handled case-by-case via orders@calderacompounds.com with international wire transfer as the payment method.
